Many of the dogs we help rescue are middle-aged, retired gun dogs. The demand of their sport can get too difficult for them to continue but they have many years of life left. There are also many dogs that begin their training in the hunting industry but don’t quite have what it takes to make it as a gun dog. These dogs are in need of families. Reason for rehoming: Zuri’s exercise needs are more than her current family can give her. She needs to have a family who can give her plenty of space to run and a job to do, or be someone’s close companion. She is crate trained and does well when she is in her kennel.
