Many of the dogs we help rescue are middle-aged, retired gun dogs. The demand of their sport can get too difficult for them to continue but they have many years of life left. There are also many dogs that begin their training in the hunting industry but don’t quite have what it takes to make it as a gun dog. These dogs are in need of families. Leash manners: Very Good, knows how to sit/heel and loves to sit at your feet
Background: Was purchased as a puppy, doesn’t have a lot of field/prey drive. Likes to chase a toy/bumper but doesn’t retrieve to hand.
Friendliness: Very friendly, loves to be petted.
Good with other dogs or children? Yes.
Hunter/non-hunter: At this time, non hunter but has a great bloodline and could become a hunter if someone invested time into her.
House Trained: Yes
